We’ve had a firehose of woso since the international break and I am one of those clumsy infomercial people trying to keep up. Things aren’t gonna get any easier either. This weekend is of course another full and intriguing slate of NWSLing, and the UWCL semifinals conclude with second legs.

Arsenal are up a goal on Lyonnes, and Bayern and Barcelona are knotted at 1-1. My only gripe is that these games are on Saturday and Sunday. Last week, the first legs snuck up on me because whomst in their right mind schedules the penultimate round of their continental club competition during a domestic club weekend? A silly person, that’s who. Anyway, the second legs are 9 am and 10:30 am ET this Saturday and Sunday respectively, so um, happy early morning weekend UWCLing I guess.

Midweek games provided a slew of fascinating performances and results. I’m not sure Portland are this good right at this particular moment, but points in the bag and returning players mean that might not matter at all.

The first slate of games after the break gave us a Spirit stomping, Utah running amok, Boston getting soccer’d, Bay being bad, a three-goal comeback by San Diego, and the birth of LOOVULL DEVIL MAGIC.
