Song: ‘ALL UP IN YOUR MIND’ -Beyoncé
Hello,
Um, so, a lot is happening all over woso this week. First, Sam Kerr posted her goodbye to Chelsea, but her next destination is unknown. So I dropped a new piece looking at the NWSL teams who need her the most. There’s also week 7’s Neat Sh!t, which has a lot of sauce you should def check out if you haven’t yet.
Apart from that, oh this week just includes a full slate of NWSL games (including four[!] tonight), the final matchday in the WSL and Frauen Bundesliga, Copa del Reina, second leg of the Liga MXF Clausura final, Première Ligue playoff semifinals, W Champions Cup semis, and three more NWSL games midweek.
Sweet Jesus, let’s get into it…
stuff to read…
According to Sam Kerr herself, her next destination is yet to be settled. So I decided to help her out. Through data and vibes, I identified the four teams who would benefit from adding Sam Kerr. I then ranked each potential destination, with the help of a classic Mo’Nique gif.
I dig the range of neat we had last week. Jaedyn Shaw did some Jaedyn Shaw things, Mandy McGlynn showed her elite level passing ability, and Claudia Martínez is feeling confident hunny.
Some trends are starting to develop among most teams. Some of these trends are good, some, erm, not so much.

This is North Americas’ answer to Europe’s Champions League. It doesn’t have the history or prestige yet, but you gotta start somewhere.
If Canada’s NSL and CONMEBOL join the competition, we might really be cookin. Until then, please enjoy these banger matchups that’ll decide the final.

This is the final matchday of the 25/26 WSL season. Manchester City secured the league when Arsenal drew to Brighton last week. But there’s still potential for important final day changes to the table…
London City sit seventh and can’t be surpassed. The finish would secure the best season for a promoted team in WSL history—but if Brighton stumble to Spurs, beating Villa could see them climb to 6th.

This is the final day of the Frauen Bundesliga as well. Bayern won the league approximately three-hundred days ago, so there’s not a ton if intrigue here.
Newly promoted Union Berlin sit 9th, and could have an outside chance at climbing up one more spot. More in their control though is punctuating their special season by giving some Eintracht players an unhappy sendoff.
🇫🇷 première ligue (playoff semis)
saturday, may 16
Basically this playoff exists to try and make it a bit trickier for Lyon/Lyonnes to continue lifting the trophy every year. It hasn’t really worked, but good job good effort.
The match to watch is my boyhood club, Paris FC, against PSG. PSG advancing would be annoying, they’ve been Reek’d by Lyonnes ever since they stumbled into the 20/21 title.
However, Paris FC hasn’t lost to Lyonnes in the league this season, drawing their home & away 3-3 then 1-1. They’re the only hope of an interesting final, so welcome to the bandwagon.
farewell fun.
Admins are getting weird and I’m so here for it.
