Dearest reader, we are in it now. Everything is happening all of the time, in many countries and indeed multiple continents. There is no escape, there is only survival. Thankfully, we got each other.
Not only is the NWSL steamrolling toward the playoffs with a thoroughly congested table, but the European leagues are back, college woso is dropping bangers and upsets on an almost daily basis, and the U20 Women’s World Cup is ongoing. Heavens.
In an effort to try and keep up I’ve started a new series highlighting some of the best college goals of the week. That’s below. I’m also adding a section of this newsletter called ‘bangers of the week’, which will be links to a few of my favorite bangers from literally anywhere. This week’s banger are heavily U20 WWC coded, because the kids have been on one.
In addition to all of that there’s a recap of last week’s NWSL games, a breakdown of what to expect from new Spirit signing Clara Luvanga, and some required reading from Jessica Luther. And as always your woso watchlist is at the end, and it is jam packed. Sorry to anyone trying to make plans, I’m busy, and also, how dare you.

Italy have been one of the surprises at the U20 WWC, not because they beat the USWNToddlers, but because every performance has been composed and exciting. One of their best players so far has been Karen Appiah, who did this.
Japan is gonna be a problem for at least a decade.
Brazil too.
