Happy International Break to all who celebrate! We have another iteration of the SheBelieves (🐶ShibaLeaves🍃) Cup kicking off this weekend, which will deliver a few tasty matchups in a round robin tournament between Argentina, Canada, Colombia and the USWNT (schedule and where to watch is below). The break also features the start of the AFC Asian Cup and World Cup Qualifiers.

The Asian Cup should be fun, and it seems like every match will be streamed on their YouTube channel, which is a delight (schedule also below). The World Cup Qualifiers are a different story, and don’t seem to be too accessible. I listed dates and times of a few interesting matchups, so yarr matey.

And recently, two things have happened that have made me want to write. First, we got a brand new batch of NWSL kits, so I did a birdman_hand_rub.gif and got to ranking them all. Also, Alysa Liu’s free skate has stuck with me, and I’ve watched it several times. People saw passion and joy, and I saw that too, but I also saw freedom. So I wrote about that.
